The Office of Online Learning’s Proctoring service IS NOT a walk-in service. Appointments are not scheduled via telephone or email. An application must be submitted. To do so, please go to Apply for Proctoring.
All proctoring fees must be paid at the time the application is submitted. Payments can be made by debit / credit card only. Fees cannot be charged to student accounts. Advanced notice is required before testing day or a late fee will apply!
All students must provide a photo ID before testing (e.g., school ID, driver’s license, or government issued ID). If you do not have a valid USM parking pass, please obtain a visitor’s pass by visiting this website.
For questions concerning The University of Southern Mississippi online class proctored exams, please contact the Office of Online Learning on the Hattiesburg campus. Even though there is a proctoring specialist located on the Gulf Park campus, all exam instructions and passwords are sent to the Office of Online Learning proctor on the Hattiesburg campus. Please contact Vanessa McCullum in Hattiesburg at 601.266.5598 or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.

It is important that you read Testing Information for Students before you complete your “Application for Proctoring”. Please use the proctoring applications to submit dates and times you wish to schedule your exam(s).
- If you are using a virtual proctor through Examity® you do not need to use this application.
- If you wish, you may schedule up to three (3) exams per course at one time. Note: This does NOT mean you can choose 3 dates and times for one exam. Only one exam per chosen date and time is allowed. Please do not list multiple courses on one application.
