The University of Southern Mississippi utilizes the the Canvas Learning Management System.  The Office of Online Learning is holding a series of workshops to introduce Canvas to faculty who may be unfamiliar with the product and educate faculty on the tools and features included within the Canvas Learning Management System.

The first workshop in this series is Canvas Workshop #1: Introduction to Canvas. The topics included within this workshop are

• logging into Canvas
• using the global navigation
• accessing your course
• using the course navigation
• modifying the Home page
• creating a module
• adding content
• creating an assignment

The workshop will be led by Susan Rayborn, with Mark Ferguson assisting.  If you have any questions regarding the Canvas Workshop Series, please contact Susan Rayborn (susan.rayborn@usm.edu) or Mark Ferguson (mark.ferguson@usm.edu).

Each participant must individually register for the workshop. Group registration is not available.
