Web conferencing, or web conference tools, are how instructors conduct live (synchronous) lectures within their online classes. At USM, there are three different options to choose from. Some have specific uses, some have features the other do not, but all three have similar tool sets.

This workshop provides an overview of these tools. It is not an indepth workshop on any one product. It provides the basics on all three so instructors can make an informed choice on which to use within their online class.

This workshop will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams and is only available for USM personnel. The content of this workshop should take no more than 45 minutes to present, leaving time for questions and additional demonstrations as needed.
