Currently, USM has access to two video recording and streaming tools: Canvas Studio and Yuja. These tools both connect to Cavnas but they are very different. Canvas studio is a Canvas product, integrates better w/ Cavnas, and is easier to use. Yuja has more “bells and whistles,” is more flexible, and will create more detailed recordings than Canvas Studio.

This workshop provides an overview of both Canvas Studio and Yuja. This is not an in-depth workshop of either product. It is a brief dicussion of how you may use either tool witin your course and how your students may use these tools as well.

This workshop will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams and is only available for USM personnel. The content of this workshop should take no more than 45 minutes to present, leaving time for questions and additional demonstrations as needed.
